THE MAC LOGAN CERTIFICATION TO THRILL PRESENTS:
THE 7TH BLACK BOOK FESTIVAL AT GOLDSMITHS' UNIVERSITY
The 7Th BLACK BOOK FESTIVAL AT GOLDSMITHS' UNIVERSITY.
Hello Everyone,
I hope you're all well and adapting to the changing weather. It is getting cold, and we are now in Winter. I haven't written in a while.
I decided to focus on a new project that's connected with my self-published mystery adventure stories. I've decided to revamp my old stories with some visuals. I'm still developing the concept.
Anyway, I enjoyed myself at the Seventh Black Book Festival at Goldsmiths' University on Saturday, 24 October 2026. It was really a dreary day to promote and sell books. But I still enjoyed it anyway. Probably because I sold a copy of my first mystery thriller, Snake Amongst Shadows (2014). I was also happy to answer questions about the sequel, SHADES OF FALCON: THE CROOKED DEAL VOL 2(2024).
As an independent author, it's always rewarding to discuss my stories and introduce readers to the worlds I've been building. The festival also celebrated booksellers, with awards presented for their contributions. It reminded me how important it is to encourage literary creativity and provide platforms for independent voices.
Even though I had sold only one book, I see it as a positive result-for each sale is another chance for someone to discover my work and meet Mac Logan, the Expendable PI. Attending events like this isn't only about sales; it's about making connections, exchanging ideas, and keeping the journey alive. I understand there's plenty more work ahead, but that's part of the adventure. So, despite the miserable weather, Goldsmiths proved worthwhile.
So, until next time. Keep reading, keep writing and keep supporting independent authors. My name is
Chimaijem Ifeanyi Ezechukwu, author of Snake Amongst Shadows and Shades of Falcon: The Crooked Deal Volume 2.
Keep your eyes peeled at www.maclogan.blogspot.co.uk, and STAY SAFE!
