The term 'White Knight' is thrown around when a fictional hero is described as someone who comes to one's aid. Take for instance the likes of the famous Simon Templar AKA The Saint or Lee Child's Jack Reacher.
Mac Logan may not qualify as a white knight just yet. But he certainly is a Good Samaritan of sorts. The reason for all that can be found in the texture of his very dark past which is once again explored in the long awaited sequel novel to Snake Amongst Shadows - FALCON.
The fabric of Mac's existence as a human being is ultimately tested and conflicted to the core because of this one great flaw which he has.
